Arsenal secured a stunning 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich, extending their UCL winning streak to nine and handing the German giants their first defeat of the season.
The Gunners opened the scoring in the 22nd minute from a corner, as Bukayo Saka's delivery was headed in by Jurriën Timber over Manuel Neuer. Bayern responded perfectly ten minutes later; Joshua Kimmich's pass led to Serge Gnabry teeing up Lennart Karl, who fired past David Raya to level the scores.
The second half belonged to Arsenal. After several close calls, substitute Riccardo Calafiori provided a perfect cross for Noni Madueke to volley home the go-ahead goal. Bayern pushed for an equalizer, but were caught out on the counter. The rapid Gabriel Martinelli sealed the famous win, rounding Neuer and calmly passing the ball into the empty net.
Mikel Arteta's side maintains a fantastic 16-match unbeaten run in all competitions, signaling a massive statement of intent for the UCL title.
